SPD Workflow sends mail to individual, but not to group

This is a permission related issue. Your Workflow not able to read the members in the Group.

To fix this issue you need to go in Group Settings

Go to the site Settings>People and Groups>[Select your group]>Group Settings

In group settings Please look for

Who can view the membership of the group? and set it to everyone.
